  • Can I bring in outside food, drinks, and/or catering for my event?
    Yes, you may bring your own food, drinks, catering. However, by using our facility, you acknowledge that the Tacoma Event Center and its employees are not responsible for any illness your food, drinks or catering may cause.
  • Do you hold dates?
    We can hold/reserve a date for your event after payment of the $100 damage deposit. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to your event. However, you may pay for your rental time in full at the time of booking.
  • Do you have a kitchen?
    We have a kitchenette with a sink, counterspace, warming unit, and refrigerator. You may utilize our kitchenette during your booking. However, the Tacoma Event Center and staff are not responsible for any injuries that may occur while utilizing our space. We do not allow cooking of any kind inside or outside our venue.

  • Do you have parking available?
    Yes, we have ample amount of parking available. However, we are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged property for your or your guests.
  • What types of events can be hosted at Tacoma Event Center?
    Our versatile venue can accommodate a wide range of events, including minimalist weddings, corporate meetings, bridal showers, quinceanera's, fundraisers, baby showers, rehearsals, workshops, seminars and more. Our flexible event space can be customized to suit the specific needs and style of each event, whether it's an intimate gathering, celebration, or business meetings. We are dedicated to ensuring that every event at Tacoma Event Center is a memorable and successful experience for our customers and their guests.
  • Do the packages include tables & chairs?
    Yes, every package includes includes 8-six foot round tables and 90 white chairs.
  • Does your space offer tables and chairs?
    We offer 8 round 6-foot tables and 90 chairs, included in the rental costs. If you'd like rectangle tables, please let us know and we can rent you up to 5 rectangle tables for $10 per table.
  • Do you allow alcohol?
    We no permit alcohol in our space. However, if you choose to have alcohol at your event, you must purchase a permit here: https://lcb.wa.gov/licensing/online-banquet-permit
